Navigating the Legal Minefield of Leave Laws

Parental leave and sick leave policies are currently left up to employers to determine. Increasingly, states and municipalities are addressing these issues as the “next frontier” in employment rights. Whether through ballot initiatives or action by state legislatures, momentum is increasing in this area, creating a veritable patchwork of laws. In this session, hear Christina Stoneburner, Partner, Labor & Employment, Fox Rothschild LLP, highlight the states with current laws and what this means for employers. It will also discuss the many ways in which these measures surface that you may not be tracking, and give you insight into trends for the future.
